My journey into the Data Science world

It started with Java front-ends and stored procedures in the early 2000s — the first quiet touchpoints with the “data” in data science. The real pull came in 2015, simulating active- and passive-safety components at Bosch, then again inside the IP portfolio, where patent analytics turned out to be a big-data problem in disguise.
